Often overshadowed by its prominent neighbor, Barbaresco is done playing second fiddle to Barolo.  Showing off the softer more feminine side of Nebbiolo, Barbaresco offers terroir driven wines of elegance and finesse while being more approachable than Barolo in its youthful years. 

Ca' Del Baio, a fourth generation winery, has been producing wine in Barbaresco since the late 1800s.  All estate grown and produced through sustainable farming practices, Ca' Del Baio wines have received numerous critical acclaim over the decades.  We highly recommend trying out both of these Barbaresco from them.  At exceptional price points and premier quality, these two are great examples of what the world class region can deliver!
Being in only its second year of production, Autinbej is the newest Barbaresco in the lineup from Ca' Del Baio.  Named after a Piedmontese word referring to vineyards with the best sun exposure, this Barbaresco offers quality and cellar-ability at a price unheard for the region.  With a jammy nose of raspberry and sweet spice, the palate is warm with a long finish.

Awarded an outstanding 95 points from James Suckling, Ca' Del Baio's Asili Cru Barbaresco is both elegant and refined.  Made from over 50 year-old vines, this red has surprisingly great balance for its youth.  It is drinking well now but will age beautifully.  A prime candidate for cellaring for 5-10 years.
