"Spiced red-cherry aromas, as well as a dried-rose perfume and gently earthy notes. The palate is very elegantly cast with crisp tannin and a swathe of fresh baking spices, across dry red-cherries."

"The 2018 Grand Mère Pinot Noir was produced from vines in Villa Bastías in Tupungato and matured in second and third use French barriques for 18 months. It's floral, expressive and fresh, following the style of the 2016 but somehow riper than the 2019 I also tasted next to it. All wines show great balance, freshness and nuance."

"A clonal selection of Pinot Noir from Villa Bastías, Tupungato, on the Anchayuyo River, that spent 18 months in used French oak. Ruby-colored with terracotta flecks. The attractive nose features strawberry, sour cherry and fine oaky notes including cedar, orange petit-four and hints of earth and sweet spices. Gentle on the palate, with a silky austerity, voluminous flow and moderate freshness. The low alcohol gives it a delicate structure."
