The 2016 Langoa Barton has an exquisite bouquet of perfumed black fruit and blueberry, with beautifully integrated oak and some of the most sensual aromatics among the Saint-Julien flight. Medium-bodied, lithe, and fluid, with supple tannins and touches of liquorice carrying through the velvety finish. So impressive, it was initially mistaken for Léoville Poyferré.
