Ordering

Can I place an order online?

  • Yes, all orders can be placed online. Keep in mind that if you would like to use our same-day local delivery service please review our policies here.

Can I place an order over the phone?

    • Yes, all orders can be placed over the phone during normal business hours. You can call us at 631-298-8100. 

Is it possible to change or cancel an order?

    • Yes, to change or cancel an order please call us at 631-298-8100 and we'd be happy to assist you.

What types of credit cards do you accept? 

  • We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover debit and credit cards. 

    How do I know that my transaction is secure?

    • If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.

    Shipping & Returns

    Does Vintage Mattituck ship to my state?

    • Currently, we only ship within NY State.

    Can I deliver to an international address?

    • No, unfortunately, we only ship to addresses within the United States.

    Do you ship in times of hot and cold temperatures?

    • We DO NOT recommend shipping wines in extreme weather conditions. As a service to our customers, upon request, we can hold wine purchased during summer and winter months and ship when moderate weather returns. Please note if you would like to use this service during checkout. Customers assume the risk of temperature damage to wines during summer and winter months.

    What do you require to receive shipment?

    • An adult signature is required in order to accept an order containing alcohol. FedEx Ground will require an ID upon delivery, to ensure the receiver is over 21. The receiver will also be required to sign for the order.

    What if I’m not around to sign for the shipment?

    After placing an order, how long does it take to ship?

    • All orders are shipped out within two business days. You can expect your shipment within 3-7 business days. 

    What are the available shipping options? What are your shipping rates?

    • Unless your order is being delivered on the North Fork by our staff, all orders are shipped via FedEx Ground. Shipping rates are based on the weight of your order. We offer FREE SHIPPING on orders over $250 within New York State. You can learn more about our shipping rates here.

    Local Delivery and In-Store Pickup

    Do you provide local delivery?

    • Yes, we do provide local deliveries to all of the North Fork with free delivery options. Click here for more information.

    How often do local deliveries go out?

    • Deliveries go out seven days a week. Click here for more information.

    Do I need to be home when you deliver?

    • Yes, in order to drop off a delivery, we require an adult signature by someone over the age of 21. 

    Can someone else sign for my delivery?

    • Yes, as long as they are over the age of 21, someone else can sign for the delivery.

    Do you offer in-store pickup?

    • Yes, if you would like to use our in-store pickup service, just call in your order ahead of time and we'll have your order ready in as little as 30 minutes. Click here for more information.

    What do I need to bring with me for in-store pickup?

    • All you need to bring with you for in-store pickup is a government-issued ID to verify you are over 21.

    Can I send someone else to pick up my order?

    • Yes, if you would like someone else to pick up your order please notify us via phone or make a note on your online order.

    When can I pick up my order?

    • You can pick up your order during our normal business hours which can be found here.

    How soon will my In-Store Pickup order be ready?

    • In-Store Pickups are ready in as little as 30 minutes. Just come inside, pay for your order, and you'll be set to go. 

    How long will you hold my In-Store Pickup order before restocking it?

    • We will hold your In-Store Pickup order for 7 days before restocking it unless other arrangements have previously been made.

    Who can I talk to about a large order?

      • If you would like to place a large order, you can call us at 631-298-8100. Please call in advance so we can ensure we have what you need in stock or put in a special order if needed. 

    If I don’t see a specific wine or spirit that I would like to purchase, can I make a special order?

    • Of course! If you don't find what you're looking for, please call or email us! If the item isn't in stock, we'll try to special order it for you or suggest an appropriate alternative.
