Fratelli Serio & Battista Borgogno Barbera d'Alba Superiore 2022

This rich Piedmont red opens with aromas of blackberry, violet, and sweet spice, leading to flavors of ripe plum, black cherry, and hints of cocoa and licorice. Aged longer and with greater concentration than standard Barbera d'Alba, the Superiore designation adds depth and structure. It finishes silky and beautifully balanced with bright acidity and lingering dark fruit.
