Rich and layered, with toasted oak and caramel leading into toffee, dried fruit and baking spice. The palate is full-bodied and warming, with pepper, milk chocolate and a touch of smoke, finishing long with lingering chocolate and spice.
Made from fully matured Elijah Craig Small Batch Bourbon, then finished for several months in a second custom-toasted new American oak barrel. The finishing barrels are made from 18-month air-dried oak, toasted to bring out deeper caramelized sugar and oak character, then lightly charred.
