Rich and structured, with red and black fruit, dark plum and dried currant layered with warm spice, black pepper, sage, tobacco and subtle oak. Full-bodied and polished, with fresh fruit, soft rounded tannins and a long, savory finish.
A blend of 36% Cabernet Franc, 25% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon and 14% Petit Verdot. Each variety is fermented separately, followed by malolactic fermentation in barrel and foudre. After eight months in oak, the wine is blended and aged for an additional eight months before bottling.
