Elegant and expressive, with dried cherry and black cherry layered with violet, licorice, graphite, smoky spice and mineral notes. Medium to full-bodied, with supple, velvety tannins, bright acidity and a polished, persistent finish.
Made primarily from Sangiovese with Canaiolo from estate vineyards in San Donato in Poggio. Fermented in stainless steel to preserve freshness and purity, then aged for 12 months in large oak casks followed by 6 months in bottle.
