Domaine Jean Baptiste Boudier Sous Fretille Pernand-Vergelesses Premier Cru 2022

Elegant and beautifully focused, with apricot, citrus and white flowers accented by ginger, chamomile, subtle spice and a touch of oak. Silky and energetic on the palate, with pronounced limestone minerality, excellent balance and a long, persistent finish.

Made from 100% Chardonnay grown on the steep, highly calcareous soils of the Sous-Frétille Premier Cru. The grapes are hand harvested and fermented with indigenous yeasts, then aged for 14–16 months in French oak barrels, with 15–30% new oak.
