Painstakingly crafted by Master Distiller Eddie Russell, this very special, exquisitely aged bourbon is the culmination of 13 years of perfected maturation. A 2.0 reimagining of the original Russell’s Reserve 13 – named 2021’s whiskey of the year – subsequent batches of this limited release will offer a distinct expression of the barrel, each batched at a unique variable barrel proof point.
Nose: Notes of vanilla, caramel, and brown sugar, followed by cherry, spice notes of clove and nutmeg and signature Wild Turkey Distilling Co. dusty funk.
Palate: Sweet notes of cola, molasses and dark fruit transition to lighter notes of fruit cobbler and butter cream.
Finish: A long-lasting finish with mature oak, char, and deep oak spice, and a hint of black pepper.
