"A quite extraordinary nose. The concentration of aromas far exceeds the standard anejo. The creamy oak is very big, as is to be expected after 3-4 years of ageing in new French Oak, but it never overwhelms the pure, intense agave aromas of buttered grilled peppers and spice. Toffee-apples, pastry-crusts and some delicate floral notes of sweetpea as the aromas develop."
