McCall Wines
SEPTEMBER'S LOCAL WINERY OF THE MONTH!
Nestled in Cutchogue, McCall Wines is celebrated for crafting some of Long Island’s most exquisite Pinot Noir. This beautiful vineyard sits on land with a rich history, once owned by the Algonquin tribe and saved from development in 1996 by Russell McCall and the Peconic Land Trust. Russell, a passionate advocate for land preservation, transformed the former corn and potato fields into a thriving 21-acre vineyard, with their first vintage produced in 2007 and a tasting room opened in 2010. As Long Island’s first wind-powered farm, McCall Wines is committed to sustainability and is certified by Long Island Sustainable Winegrowing. Beyond the vines, they raise Charolais cattle, offering grass-fed beef directly from the farm.
This month, we're excited to showcase their standout wines: a Burgundian-style Pinot Noir, a crisp and refreshing Unoaked Chardonnay, and the bold, Bordeaux-inspired Ben’s Blend. Each wine reflects McCall’s dedication to quality and sustainability, making them a must-try for any wine enthusiast or local winery lover!
